Geneva, January 31 (Hibya) - World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus announced that 50 patients will be medically evacuated from Gaza tomorrow.

Ghebreyesus said: "This will be the first medical evacuation since the ceasefire began and the first evacuation from Rafah since May 2024. However, between 12,000 and 14,000 people still require urgent specialized medical care outside Gaza. We continue to call for the acceleration of medical evacuations by all possible means".
