Putin holds talks with Belarusian President Lukashenko
Moscow, 15 November (Hibya) – Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
During the call, the two leaders exchanged views on a number of practical issues related to bilateral relations, particularly in the energy sector, and also addressed current international matters.
Putin and Lukashenko agreed to continue their contacts at the upcoming session of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Summit in Bishkek and at the traditional meeting of the leaders of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) to be held at the end of the year in St. Petersburg.
