Israeli Foreign Minister Saar spoke with his Lithuanian counterpart Budrys
Jerusalem, 15 November (Hibya) – Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Saar held a phone call with Lithuania’s Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys.
During the conversation, Minister Saar provided information regarding the return to Israel of the body of the deceased hostage, Manny Godard.
Saar also claimed that the Palestinian Authority continues to pay salaries to Hamas members through a new payment system, emphasizing that President Mahmoud Abbas’ dismissal of the finance minister does not absolve Abbas or the administration of responsibility for this practice.
Saar stated that Israel values its friendship with Lithuania and invited his Lithuanian counterpart to visit Israel.
