Moscow, July 21 (Hibya) – Russian President Vladimir Putin held a working meeting with Udmurt Republic Head Aleksandr Brechalov.
Russian President Putin held a working meeting with Udmurt Republic Head Aleksandr Brechalov.
The socio-economic situation in the region was discussed during the meeting. Special attention was given to vocational adaptation programs for participants of the special military operation.
Udmurt Head Brechalov noted a record number of entrepreneurs: "172 thousand are small businesses and self-employed. For Udmurtia, with a population of one and a half million — more precisely 1,460,000 — this is a very good number; nearly 75 thousand of them are directly SMEs."
Brechalov said, "The village is everything to us. Our exports are generally increasing. But you know, when these crazy sanctions started, many experts appeared who now talk about who will get what."
