Patrushev accuses London of trying to disrupt negotiations with the US
Moscow, July 25 (Hibya) – Nikolai Patrushev, one of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s closest aides and Chairman of the Russian Maritime College, said that the United Kingdom had launched a military provocation in the Baltic region to disrupt negotiations between Russia and the United States and to ensure Washington's continued support for Ukraine.
Patrushev said, “We are now talking about an attempt by the UK to pit two major nuclear powers against each other, in order to derail the Russian-American negotiation process and to persuade Washington to provide full-scale military aid to the Kiev regime.”
He also stated that London is ready to betray Washington if necessary, and added that the White House is likely aware of this.
