Palestinian Foreign Ministry calls for an end to policies undermining basic needs
Ramallah, September 2 (Hibya) – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has called for international action to stop genocide, displacement, and annexation crimes, the famine imposed on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, the destruction of their material resources and livelihoods, and the policies undermining essential needs of life, including education and healthcare.
In its statement, the ministry stressed that the indifference of states and the international community to the looting of the wealth of the Palestinian people, the suffocation of their economy and sources of income, the deprivation of students and children in the Gaza Strip from education, the serious threats to the entire educational process, and the disruption of citizens’ lives in all fields, has reached alarming levels.
The ministry called for genuine international efforts to release the assets of the Palestinian people and to provide a financial safety net and support that would strengthen the citizens’ commitment and determination to remain loyal to their homeland.
