Pakistan reviews new strategy to strengthen economic diplomacy
Islamabad, October 30 (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, chaired a high-level inter-ministerial meeting to review the overall strategy for enhancing economic diplomacy and trade.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Commerce, the Minister of Justice, the Prime Minister’s Special Adviser Tariq Bajwa, federal secretaries, and senior officials from relevant ministries.
During the meeting, which reviewed progress made since the committee’s last session, Dar emphasized the importance of using economic diplomacy as an effective tool to boost exports, attract investments, and deepen trade and economic relations, particularly with the European Union and other key partners.
