Orban: We must minimize the funds transferred to Ukraine
Budapest, October 29 (Hibya) - Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban made statements regarding his vision for peace and stability in Europe.
Orban stated that Europe should negotiate directly with Russia, saying, “For Europe to make its voice heard, we must talk directly with Russia.”
Proposing a strategic approach on the issue of Ukraine, Orban said, “Ukraine should not be an EU member, but a strategic partner.” He also emphasized that European resources should primarily remain within the continent, adding, “We must minimize the funds transferred to Ukraine.”
Regarding energy policies, Orban said, “Each country’s energy choices must be respected.”
