Leyen: Uzbekistan and Central Asian countries are Europe’s preferred partners
Samarkand, April 3 (Hibya) – European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stated that Uzbekistan and Central Asian countries are Europe’s preferred partners.
Commission President Leyen thanked Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev for hosting the summit.
Emphasizing that Uzbekistan and the Central Asian countries are Europe’s preferred partners, Leyen said: “There is a longstanding friendship between us based on vibrant exchange in trade, ideas, and innovation.”
