Lahbib: There is no alternative to the two-state solution
Brussels, August 9 (Hibya) – EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management, Hadja Lahbib, reacted to the Israeli Security Cabinet’s decision to extend the military operation in Gaza.
Commissioner Lahbib said that the Israeli Security Cabinet’s decision to extend the military operation in Gaza would further worsen the already catastrophic humanitarian situation and endanger the lives of the remaining hostages.
Emphasizing the need for an immediate ceasefire, the unconditional release of all hostages, and the delivery of large-scale humanitarian aid in full compliance with international humanitarian law, Lahbib said: “There is no alternative to the two-state solution.”
