European Commissioner Marta Kos said work is continuing to provide strong and predictable support for Ukraine and its partners.

Commenting on her meeting with Ukrainian Finance Minister Sergii Marchenko ahead of the Ukraine Donor Platform, Kos said, “Financing and reforms go hand in hand.”

Noting that Ukraine's progress on reforms has paved the way for €2.9 billion in new financial support under the Ukraine Plan, Kos said, “Further progress on reforms will unlock more financial support.”

Kos said the European Union is doing its part, adding, “But meeting Ukraine's needs is a shared effort. We need ambitious commitments from all partners.”
