Kallas: Parties must return to negotiations and ensure safe access to humanitarian aid
Brussels, October 29 (Hibya) - The European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas, made a statement regarding developments in Sudan.
Kallas described the capture of El Fasher, the capital of Darfur, by the Rapid Support Forces as a dangerous turning point in Sudan’s war.
She stated that the EU has called on all parties “to return to negotiations, respect humanitarian law, and ensure the safe delivery of humanitarian aid.”
