Kallas: North Macedonia becomes the first country to sign a security and defense partnership with the EU
Skopje, May 23 (Hibya) – EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and European Commission Vice-President Kaja Kallas announced that North Macedonia has become the first country to sign a security and defense partnership with the European Union.
Kallas noted that North Macedonia is also the first country to benefit from the EU's Growth Plan for the Western Balkans.
Emphasizing that North Macedonia is part of the European family, Kallas said: “Now, advancing on the EU path is essential.”
