IDF: Weapon smuggling attempt foiled on western border
Jerusalem, October 27 (Hibya) – The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that a weapon smuggling attempt on the western border had been thwarted.
According to an IDF statement, in the morning hours, soldiers operating in the Paran Division’s area of responsibility detected a drone entering Israeli territory from the west.
The statement said it was determined that the drone was attempting to smuggle weapons into the country: “Two firearms and ammunition carried by the drone were seized for inspection and processing by security forces.”
