Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Harris stressed that words of condemnation are not enough in the face of the genocide in Gaza.

He described as horrifying the scenes of people desperately searching for food, famine conditions, and more military operations, and added:

“We urgently need a ceasefire, the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages and the remains of hostages held by Hamas, and broad, unhindered humanitarian access. It is vital that the European Union act immediately and take concrete measures in response to Israel’s actions that violate its human rights obligations under the EU–Israel Association Agreement.”

Harris stated that pressure must be maximised, a ceasefire ensured, and famine ended, adding: “It is now time for Europe to act. This is the message I delivered today at the meeting in Copenhagen on behalf of the Irish people. The most effective way for Europe to act and maintain its credibility is to move forward with concrete measures that will pressure Israel to change its course.”
