Harris: We will unlock new opportunities for Ireland by 2026
Dublin, February 19 (Hibya) - Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Defence Minister, and Deputy Prime Minister Simon Harris announced that Ireland will unlock new opportunities by 2026 by joining one of the world’s leading particle physics laboratories.
Harris stated that Ireland’s associate membership in the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) would be transformative for the research community.
He emphasized that by joining this leading laboratory by 2026, Ireland will unlock new opportunities, adding: "I will continue working in the government to ensure Ireland's successful accession to CERN".
