Mexico considers constitutional change to prevent US invasion
Mexico City, February 21 (Hibya) - Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum announced that she is proposing constitutional amendments that appear to be aimed at preventing a possible US military attack against drug cartels on Mexican territory.
Sheinbaum announced that she will submit a draft constitutional amendment to the Mexican Congress on Thursday. The changes aim to guarantee the country’s sovereignty in the face of any potential US military intervention.
