UNRWA: Our teams need support to continue their work
New York, February 21 (Hibya) - The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) announced that its teams need support to continue their vital work.
In a statement, UNRWA reported that Basma was a farmer in northern Gaza and lost everything due to the war.
After about 1.5 years of moving from one shelter to another, she received a tent from UNRWA, which was made possible after the reopening of the distribution center in Jabalia.
“UNRWA and its humanitarian partners continue to deliver life-saving aid in the Gaza Strip, but the needs are immense. Our teams need support to continue their essential work.”
