Grandi holds talks with Taliban leaders
Geneva, July 21 (Hibya) – United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi stated that he held talks with Taliban leaders about the emergency situation of returnees.
United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Grandi said he discussed the emergency situation of returnees with Taliban leaders and the importance of safe and dignified intervention for all returnees, especially women and children.
In his statement, Grandi said: "At a time when the country faces many challenges, the Afghan people need more international support."
