A meeting was held between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

According to a statement by Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting addressed recent regional developments and diplomatic efforts aimed at ensuring peace and stability in the region.

It was reported that Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi informed the Pakistani side about his recent visit to China and the regional and international consultations held within this framework.

During the meeting, it was also emphasized that Araghchi thanked Pakistan for facilitating the return of Iranian citizens who had been on previously detained ships.

It was noted that Pakistan’s diplomatic and humanitarian contributions during this process were appreciated by Iran, and the importance of continuing cooperation between the two countries was underlined.
