Lahbib: We continue to build a more inclusive Europe
Nicosia, May 7 (Hibya) - European Union (EU) Commissioner for Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib made statements on inclusiveness and fundamental rights at the Disability Rights Forum held in Cyprus.
European Union (EU) Commissioner for Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib addressed the European Union’s perspective on disability rights and future goals during her speech at the forum.
Beginning her remarks by referring to the event she attended, Lahbib said, “Empowerment, self-determination and autonomy must be at the heart of our Union. A Union that leaves no one behind.”
Referring to Europe’s broader vision, Lahbib stated, “Together, we continue to build a more inclusive Europe for everyone.”
