Pakistan Prime Minister Sharif and Qatar Prime Minister Al Thani held talks
Islamabad, May 7 (Hibya) - Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif announced that during his phone call with Qatar Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, they discussed regional developments and conveyed a shared determination to support diplomatic efforts for lasting peace and stability.
Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif held a phone conversation with Qatar Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani. Sharif made a statement regarding the call.
Sharif stated that developments in the region were discussed comprehensively during the conversation, noting that the parties agreed to support all diplomatic efforts aimed at ensuring lasting peace and stability in the region.
Pakistan Prime Minister Sharif said the conversation was cordial and productive, emphasizing the importance of Qatar’s support for initiatives based on dialogue and diplomacy.
Prime Minister Sharif said, “I conveyed my gratitude to the Emir of Qatar, H.H. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on behalf of my dear brother, for his leadership and for Qatar’s continued support for Pakistan’s sincere efforts to advance regional peace and stability through dialogue and diplomacy.”
