Fiala: Our goal is a state that works but does not unnecessarily complicate life
Prague, August 27 (Hibya) – Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala announced that with the government’s fourth anti-bureaucracy package, the daily lives of companies and citizens will be made easier.
Czech Prime Minister Fiala introduced the government’s new fourth anti-bureaucracy package.
He emphasized that the main goal of the package is to eliminate unnecessary procedures both in business and in citizens’ daily lives.
Fiala stated: “Our goal is a state that works but does not unnecessarily complicate life,” noting that with the new regulations some obstacles in professional life have been removed.
According to the package, spouses or partners will now be allowed to work in the same workplace with a standard employment contract, the obligation to notify trade unions of employment contracts will be abolished, and signature verification processes on foreign language documents will be simplified.
Additionally, the validity of children’s medical reports will be extended to five years, and data accessible by state institutions themselves will be removed from social security notifications.
Fiala recalled that in previous anti-bureaucracy packages, penalties for small businesses were reduced, VAT and lump-sum tax thresholds were raised, mandatory health checks for certain professions were abolished, and online pension applications were enabled.
