EU Commission President Leyen met with NATO Secretary General Rutte
Brussels, January 31 (Hibya) - European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen met with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
Von der Leyen thanked NATO Secretary General Rutte for attending the college meetings.
She emphasized that the EU and NATO work closely together, and that recent events in the Baltic region once again highlight the importance of their cooperation.
Von der Leyen stated that from jointly responding to hybrid threats to improving interoperability, much can be achieved together, adding: "Our cooperation will also inform the White Paper on the Future of European Defense."
