EU Commission President Leyen: Europe and the Caribbean are close allies
Bridgetown, February 19 (Hibya) - European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stated that there is an ocean of difference between Europe and the Caribbean, yet they remain close allies.
EU Commission President Leyen announced that she traveled to Bridgetown for the Caribbean Common Market Summit.
Leyen emphasized that despite the vast differences, Europe and the Caribbean remain close allies. She said, "I am here to strengthen this unique partnership – from combating climate change to expanding trade and investment under the Global Gateway framework."
