Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans announced that the Dutch Marines are participating in the multinational military exercise “Talisman Sabre” in Australia. The exercise involves about 30,000 troops from 17 countries.

Minister Brekelmans emphasized the close link between the security and prosperity of the Indo-Pacific region and Europe, highlighting the importance that the Netherlands places on this type of international cooperation.

Brekelmans stated that participation in the exercise both enhances military readiness and demonstrates the Netherlands’ commitment to global security partnerships, expressing that his country is a responsible partner.
