Death toll in German Christmas market car attack rises to 5
Berlin, December 21 (Hibya) - Bild, German public broadcaster ARD, and other media outlets report that five people have died, and 41 were seriously injured in the attack.
Additionally, 86 people are being treated in hospitals for severe injuries, while 78 sustained minor injuries.
Police stated that preliminary tests indicate the attacker was under the influence of drugs.
