Dar participated in the United Nations Security Council meeting
New York, July 24 (Hibya) – Pakistan Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, as the rotating President of the United Nations Security Council, presented Pakistan's statement at the Security Council session on "Cooperation between the United Nations and regional and subregional organizations in maintaining international peace and security: Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)."

In his statement, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister described the OIC, the second-largest intergovernmental organization after the UN, as a structure that builds a bridge between global and regional efforts, harmonizing political priorities with humanitarian priorities. He emphasized that the legitimacy of the OIC stems not only from its broad and diverse membership but also from its principled and clear mandate.
