In his Pakistan Day message for 2026, he stated:

"On this important day of our National Day, I extend my heartfelt greetings to all Pakistani citizens. Today, we commemorate the 'Pakistan Resolution' adopted on March 23, 1940, when the Muslims of the Indian subcontinent demanded a separate homeland where they could live in accordance with Islamic principles."

Dar also highlighted the process of establishing an independent Pakistan:

"As we proudly commemorate March 23 today, we pay tribute to the unwavering and courageous efforts, vision, and determination of our forefathers that led to the creation of an independent Pakistan. Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah led the Pakistan Movement and overcame countless challenges with extraordinary resilience, courage, and faith."

Regarding ongoing conflicts in the region, he said:

"The economic and political repercussions of the ongoing conflict in our region also affect us. I sincerely believe and hope that our nation, by adhering to the values of unity, faith, and discipline, will stand firm and successfully overcome this challenge together, Inshallah."

In his message on counter-terrorism and martyrs:

"Pakistan remains determined to eradicate the scourge of terrorism. Our brave sons sacrifice their lives for this cause. We pay tribute to our martyrs and heroes who have made the greatest sacrifices for the betterment of our shared future."

Dar also addressed the Kashmir issue:

"Today, we cannot forget our Kashmiri brothers and their extraordinary sacrifices in their inalienable quest for the right to self-determination. Pakistan remains committed to providing moral and diplomatic support until the oppressed people of Kashmir attain their right to self-determination."

In his message to Pakistanis living abroad:

"On this special day, I extend my heartfelt greetings to my Pakistani brothers and sisters living abroad and appreciate their patriotism, dedication, and hard work. Every day, they proudly represent Pakistan on the international stage and play a vital role in shaping the country's future success."

Dar concluded his message with the words: "May Almighty Allah be the protector and guardian of Pakistan, Ameen."
