Costa: Critical minerals are a major economic opportunity for African countries
Johannesburg, 23 November (Hibya) – European Council President Antonio Costa emphasized that African countries can strengthen their economies by utilizing their critical minerals and play a central role in supplying clean energy technologies.
Speaking at the G20 summit, Costa stated that critical minerals represent a major economic opportunity for African countries. He explained that by developing these important reserves, Africa can strengthen its economies, build local value chains, and become a key player in supplying materials for clean energy technologies such as electric vehicles and solar panels.
