Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha announced the signing of a Cooperation Memorandum between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, which combines diplomacy with humanitarian aid.

Expressing gratitude to the Red Cross Society for its vital contributions to strengthening Ukraine's resilience and partnership in implementing health and recovery projects for Ukrainian children, Sybiha said, "This Memorandum lays the foundation for systematic cooperation between Ukraine's diplomatic missions, especially in Africa, and the URCS to expand Ukraine's humanitarian role and diplomatic presence."

Sybiha also noted that, under the memorandum, a meeting was held with ambassadors regarding the practical implementation of joint initiatives in African countries and globally.
