Budrys: The red carpet will not bring Putin to the negotiating table
Vilnius, August 30 (Hibya) – Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys said that the red carpet will not bring Russian President Putin to the negotiating table, stressing that Russia continues to act as an aggressor.

Budrys noted that Russia continues to be an aggressor, adding: “Despite numerous international efforts to end the war, Moscow continues its ruthless attacks; brazenly bombing Ukrainian cities and showing no intention of abandoning its imperial ambitions.”
Budrys stated that the only way to force Russia to negotiate and end this war is to create conditions so unfavorable for the aggressor that no other option remains.
