A phone conversation took place between Aliyev and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.

During the call, the two leaders exchanged Eid al-Adha greetings and conveyed their wishes for prosperity and abundance to the peoples of both countries.

Pezeshkian thanked Azerbaijan for the humanitarian assistance it provided during the difficult period his country has been experiencing.

President Aliyev stated that Azerbaijan and Iran have always stood by each other in both good and difficult times.

The phone call also addressed the development of bilateral relations and future cooperation opportunities.
