Foreign ministers of Pakistan and Costa Rica met in New York
New York, May 26 (Hibya) - Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar and Costa Rica’s Foreign Minister Manuel Tovar Rivera met on the sidelines of the high-level United Nations (UN) Security Council meeting to discuss bilateral relations and the international agenda.
Dar held a meeting with Costa Rican Foreign Minister Rivera on the margins of the high-level UN Security Council meeting held in New York.
During the meeting, bilateral relations between Pakistan and Costa Rica were discussed, and consensus was reached on strengthening cooperation in various fields.
The meeting was also attended by Rebeca Grynspan, Costa Rica’s candidate for the position of UN Secretary-General.
It was reported that the parties exchanged views on regional and international developments and reaffirmed their commitment to multilateralism, dialogue, and cooperation within the framework of the United Nations.
