Al Thani holds talks with foreign ministers of Austria, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Oman
Doha, September 14 (Hibya) – Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani held telephone talks with the foreign ministers of Austria, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Oman.
According to a statement from the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani held separate telephone calls with Austrian Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud, Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah and Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaidi.
During the talks, cooperation relations between the countries and ways to strengthen them were discussed, along with the latest developments in the region. Diplomatic efforts and joint coordination aimed at de-escalating tensions and strengthening security and stability were also addressed.
During the talks, Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Al Thani reaffirmed his country's support for all diplomatic efforts and initiatives aimed at reaching a solution that guarantees freedom of maritime navigation and traffic and paves the way for a comprehensive agreement that would ensure sustainable and lasting peace in the region.
