Lula da Silva: We are expanding the Farmacia Popular program with remote consultations
Brazil, September 13 (Hibya) – Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva announced that the scope of the Farmacia Popular program has been expanded to include free tests and remote consultation services.
Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said that this step in the field of healthcare is a necessary move to provide citizens with greater dignity and higher-quality care.
Referring to the program’s history and new measures, Lula da Silva said, “As of February 2025, Farmacia Popular offers all 41 products covered by the program completely free of charge across Brazil. Now we are expanding Farmacia Popular to also include free tests and remote consultation services through SUS.”
Emphasizing the importance of improvements in healthcare services, Lula da Silva said, “It is a necessary step toward providing much greater dignity and quality care.”
Lula da Silva concluded his statement by saying, “Brazil is ready for more!”
