Minister Harris to host Slovak counterpart Blanar in Dublin
Dublin, March 28 (Hibya) – Ireland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade, and Defence, and Deputy Prime Minister Simon Harris, announced that he will host Slovakia’s Minister for Foreign and European Affairs, Juraj Blanar, in Dublin.
Ireland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade, and Defence, and Deputy Prime Minister Simon Harris, stated that he will welcome Slovak Minister for Foreign and European Affairs Juraj Blanar in Dublin.
Harris said he has been engaging intensively with EU colleagues and stakeholders regarding the evolving trade environment between the United States (US) and the European Union (EU), adding: “Tariffs are harmful to both consumers and the economies on both sides of the ocean. We must minimize uncertainty and the period of economic turbulence, and ensure that the US and EU work together to find a solution that works for all our people and economies.”
