Zelensky: We send our words of support to President Trump and the American people
Kyiv, January 30 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that in this difficult time, they are sending their words of support to the President of the United States, Donald Trump, and the American people.
Zelensky noted that shocking news was coming from Washington about a mid-air collision between an American Airlines passenger jet and a military helicopter.
Expressing condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims, Zelensky said:
“We can see how emergency response teams are showing extraordinary dedication during the search and rescue operation. In this tragic time, we send our words of support to President Trump and the American people.”
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha also commented on the situation: “Tragic news about a collision between a jet and a helicopter at Washington's Reagan National Airport. We extend our condolences to the families of the victims. Ukraine mourns with our American friends on this sad day.”
