Zelensky: Time for joint defense against air terror
Kyiv, September 16 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, drawing attention to the heavy airstrikes against his country, called on the international community for joint air defense.
Zelensky said that in just one night, more than 100 drones and 150 guided bombs were used to attack various regions of Ukraine.
He noted that the city of Zaporizhzhia was targeted by Russian rocket artillery and that the fires caused by the attacks were extinguished by firefighting teams. According to Zelensky, 13 people were injured in the attacks, including two children, and many homes were damaged.
In the Mykolaiv region, one person was reported dead as a result of an ordinary farm being targeted. Zelensky extended his condolences to the victim’s family.
