Zelensky thanks border guards: You are the first to defend Ukraine
Kyiv, April 30 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky issued a message on the occasion of State Border Guard Day.
In his message marking State Border Guard Day, President Zelensky thanked the security forces protecting the country’s borders.
Zelensky emphasized that border guards not only secure the borders, but also fight on the front lines alongside Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
“Our border guards are the first to confront the enemy. They detect saboteurs, stop attacks, and neutralize drones. They fight in active conflict zones, protect civilian settlements, and save Ukrainian lives,” Zelensky stated.
