Israel: National Security Council reissues travel warning for UAE
Jerusalem, August 1 (Hibya) – The Israeli Prime Minister's Office announced that the National Security Council (NSC) has reiterated its previous travel warning for the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The Prime Minister's Office stated that the NSC has reissued the travel advisory previously published for the UAE.
The statement read: "The reason for repeating this warning is our assessment that terrorist organizations such as Iranians, Hamas, Hezbollah, and Global Jihad have increased their efforts to harm Israel. Their motivations are believed to stem from a desire for revenge following the Rising Lion Operation, increased anti-Israel and pro-Palestinian incitement since the start of the Iron Swords Operation, and reactions to the starvation campaign conducted by Hamas."
The statement also emphasized that the Level 3 travel warning, previously issued by the NSC and still in effect, remains valid. The warning advises avoiding non-essential travel and seriously reconsidering plans to visit the country. It is strongly recommended to strictly follow the advice on the NSC’s website. Particular attention should be paid to the following:
Exercise extreme caution and be aware of your surroundings. Avoid displaying Israeli or Jewish symbols in public. Do not wear clothing with Hebrew writing or markers indicating your origin or religion. Avoid large gatherings with Israelis and visiting Israeli/Jewish institutions. If you notice anything unusual, contact local security authorities.
Israel’s security system cooperates closely with global security agencies through relevant institutions to prevent terrorist threats against Israeli and Jewish targets abroad.
