Zelensky: Strong steps will be taken for new sanctions against Russia
Kyiv, July 31 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that strong new steps will be taken for sanctions against Russia and support for Ukraine.
Zelensky noted that Europe is currently marking the 50th anniversary of the OSCE, which symbolizes the Helsinki principles that once charted a peaceful path for Europe.
"We clearly know what is needed to restore peace to Europe, to force Russia toward peace, and to end this war. Strong new steps will be taken for sanctions against Russia and to support Ukraine. I thank everyone helping from around the world. We are receiving all the necessary signals from European leaders and many ministers that Ukraine is moving in the right direction," he said.
