President Zelensky addressed the European Political Community Summit held in Tirana, the capital of Albania.

He emphasized that Ukraine needs peace, stating, “Peace in Europe depends on whether Ukraine can achieve it.”

Zelensky said everyone could see how low-level the Russian delegation in Istanbul was, adding:

“None of them were actual decision-makers in Russia. Still, I sent our team led by the Minister of Defense to at least see if those Russians could actually decide anything.”

Zelensky reiterated: “Our top priority is a full, unconditional, and honest ceasefire. This must happen immediately to stop the killing and create a strong basis for diplomacy.”

He added that U.S. President Donald Trump wants to end this war.
