Zelensky: Our response will be strong and decisive
Kyiv, April 12 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Captain Pavlo Ivanov tragically died during an F-16 combat mission.
Zelensky said, “The man was only 26 years old. My condolences to his family and all of Pavlo's comrades-in-arms.”
The president noted that military authorities had provided the necessary reports on the situation and added:
“Ukraine’s F-16s, Mirages, and MiGs—all our fighter jets—are heroically carrying out their missions, defending our country and supporting ground operations. The Air Force is also engaged in protecting Ukraine from Russian missiles and drones. We are proud of our fighters. Our response will be strong and decisive.”
