Zelensky noted that he spoke at the Peace Formula conference in Malta, which brought together about 66 countries from around the world, stating, "In total, nearly 70 global actors have been involved in the Peace Formula process. The desire for peace is enshrined in international law and the UN Charter. But does the UN Charter really work? The answer to this question lies in the cries of mothers burying their daughters and sons in wars and the helplessness of children orphaned by wars in Ukraine, the Middle East, and African countries. We can and must provide a different answer."

Zelensky pointed out that he proposed the Peace Formula last year, saying, "The 10 points cover all aspects of Russia's aggression against Ukraine and are based on the principles of the UN Charter and UN General Assembly resolutions. Over the course of the year, the formula has become increasingly global with more countries and international organizations joining efforts to implement it."
