Zelensky met with NATO Secretary-General Rutte
Kyiv, June 2 (Hibya) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte. Zelensky thanked NATO for its reliable support for Ukraine.
During the meeting, information was shared about agreements on prisoner exchanges and the return of children, reached through contacts held in Istanbul. Zelensky also stated that Russia is unwilling to agree even to an unconditional ceasefire, emphasizing that such a stance could only change through increased international pressure. The parties also discussed defense support for Ukraine and diplomatic steps. Zelensky noted that Ukraine is focused on strengthening its long-range defense capabilities.
