President Zelensky emphasized that military successes at the front are part of the negotiation process. “Every occupier neutralized by our soldiers and every outcome achieved by our heroic units in battle is also a result in negotiations and forms the foundation of our successful talks,” he said.

Zelensky noted that many partners have thanked him in recent weeks for the Kupyansk operation, stating that it rebuilt confidence in Ukraine and exposed the lies of Russian President Vladimir Putin. “We know Moscow always lies; however, the world must continually see the difference between lies and the truth,” he said.

He added that Ukrainian soldiers have managed to demonstrate the truth on the battlefield, proving that Russia is wrong in this war and that partners supporting Ukraine are on the right side.

Zelensky also said he awarded members of the security and defense forces with the “Gold Star” decoration and the “Cross of Combat Merit,” and that the awards of fallen heroes honored posthumously were presented to their families.

He concluded his remarks by saying: “Glory to Ukrainian soldiers. Glory to Ukraine.”
