Ukrainian President Zelensky speaks with Finnish President Stubb
Kyiv, December 26 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed ongoing contacts with the United States (US), security guarantees, and the reconstruction process during a phone call with Finnish President Alexander Stubb.
Ukrainian President Zelensky held a phone conversation with Finnish President Stubb. During the call, the two leaders exchanged information about the contacts their countries are maintaining with international partners.
Zelensky stated that Ukraine is preparing for meetings and negotiations planned to be held in the United States in the coming period, noting that significant progress has been made between the Ukrainian and US negotiating teams. He added that intensive work is underway on security guarantees, reconstruction and economic development plans, as well as on a core 20-point document.
During the discussion, the importance of maintaining an uninterrupted diplomatic process was emphasized, and it was noted that work continues despite the year-end holiday period. Zelensky said that the process aims for a shared success not only for Ukraine, but also for Europe, America, and global peace.
At the end of the call, Ukrainian President Zelensky thanked Finnish President Stubb and the international counterparts contributing to the process.
