Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that search and rescue operations and debris removal efforts are continuing in Kyiv following Russia's attacks, noting that 13 people were tragically killed and more than 90 others were injured.

Drawing attention to the scale of damage to the capital's civilian infrastructure, Zelensky said: "Emergency response teams are clearing the rubble, searching for people, and providing assistance. Damage has been reported at more than 20 locations across the city, most of them ordinary residential buildings. An ambulance station, a research institute, a hotel, and businesses were also damaged."

Providing the latest information on the casualties, Zelensky said: "As of now, we know that 13 people were tragically killed in this Russian attack. My condolences go to their families and loved ones. More than 90 people were also injured. Everyone in need is receiving all necessary assistance."

President Zelensky concluded his statement by referring to the wider geographical scope of the attacks:

"In the Kharkiv region, five people, including one child, were injured, and in the Kyiv region, two more people were wounded, where civilian infrastructure was also targeted. During the night, Russia also attacked the Sumy, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, and Cherkasy regions."
