Sandu: Moldova stands with Ukraine
Chisinau, July 2 (Hibya) - Moldovan President Maia Sandu stated that civilians were killed in their own homes during another brutal Russian attack on Kyiv, stressing that those responsible must be held accountable and support for Ukraine must be increased.
Moldovan President Maia Sandu spoke about the latest deadly Russian air strikes on Ukraine's capital Kyiv, the civilian casualties, and the diplomatic response the international community should give to this aggression.
Expressing her condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the attack and clearly stating her country's position, Sandu said: "In another brutal Russian attack on Kyiv, civilians were killed in their own homes. My deepest condolences go to the families. Moldova stands with Ukraine."
Sandu stressed that the international community must take more determined action against Moscow, concluding her statement as follows:
"Holding those responsible for these crimes accountable, increasing pressure on Russia, and providing stronger support to Ukraine—this must be the world's response."
